Guests will enjoy the freshly-made daily gourmet breakfast served in the gracious turn-of-the-century atmosphere of the Stanford Inn. Outdoors guests can discover the inns tropical gardens as well as the outdoor pool. One-of-a-kind antiques, artwork and furnishings complete the warm Southern hospitality. This picturesque bed and breakfast is situated on a quiet corner lot in downtown Bartow, known as The City of Oaks and Azaleas. The home itself offers an expansive covered porch at the entryway with rocking chairs for relaxing and unwinding. Bartow, Florida, is conveniently located a short drive from a variety of popular Central Florida destinations including Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay. Cinephiles may recognize The Stanford Inn from its prominent feature as the Sultenfuss residence in the 1991 film My Girl, starring Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Anna Chlumsky and Macaulay Culkin.
