Hotel Overview : The BykeNestled amidst 7 acres of verdant green hills, the Byke is Matheran's first property. The Byke bungalow, near which the hotel is built, was constructed in 1854 by the discoverer of Matheran, Hugh Malet, the then Collector of Thane. Byke Resort offers enchanting cottages equipped with modern amenities. All the double bedrooms, suites and two bedroom cottages have a verandah and independent access. Guests can indulge in a choice of vegetarian cuisine, or relish exotic cocktail treats at the bar, The Malet's Oasis. The hub of the hotel is the activity area near the pool with a bar on one side and the structure on the other side. The Byke hosts a whole lot of indoor and outdoor games for all ages. Guests can indulge in a challenging game of tennis, badminton, table-tennis or cricket guests can also play indoor games like chess, carom or pool. Rates are based on double occupancy.
