The Clayton Lake site also contains worm burrows, fossilized prints of plants and ripples in the rocks made by water filling the shallow mud flats. Clayton is a recreational paradise, with the town doubling many times of the year for hunting seasons. We are conveniently located on Highway 87 --The Santa Fe Trail. Our 31 room hotel is located on the east side of Clayton. We offer smoking and non-smoking rooms with one king and two queen beds, 27 inch TVs with cable and interior corridors.
