The large (6500 square ft) historic home was built in 1910 and is set in a large country garden with woodland area. The spacious guest rooms are warm and comfortable and retain much of their original character.Ken (a farmer) and Elizabeth (former dietitian) are experienced farmstay hosts who enjoy meeting people and entertaining. Their other interests include gardening, travel, antiques, spinning, skiing, cooking, music and flying. Both have their pilot's licence. Their daughter Amanda is usually at home during university holidays. There are several cats which come inside the house. |

From north: on Hwy 72, cross the Rangitata River at Arundel. Directly over bridge turn right through village, past sawmill. Go up hill onto North Boundary Rd, follow through to Silverton Corner (signposted). Just before reaching the corner turn left into Silverton and follow driveway to large homestead. From south (Geraldine): take Hwy 72 over Orari River to Coopers Creek. Turn left onto Peel Forest Rd. After approx 7kms turn left into North Boundary Rd, straight to Silverton Corner and as above.
