Nestled in the valley of Schuss Mountain this village is surrounded by stately hard woods that have graced the Cedar River Valley for hundreds of years. The main lodge boasts views of both the 18th putting green of the Weiskopf Golf Course and the outdoor year round heated pool, private to the guests of Cedar River Village. Shanty Creek Resorts has 4,500 rolling hillside acres that overlook some of the best scenery northern Michigan has to offer.Featuring 72 suites and studios plus 14 condominiums, this elegant village showcases well-appointed accommodations in one- and two-bedroom suites and three- and four-bedroom condos with views of Cedar River Golf Course or the north face of Schuss Mountain. Guests staying at Cedar River are treated to the convenience of out-the-door access to Cedar River Golf Course, the downhill slopes of Schuss Mountain and 30 km of Nordic trails. Each guest room is equipped with air conditioning, blackout drapes/curtains, climate control, coffee/tea maker, extra towels/bedding, fireplace, hairdryer, free Internet access , iron/ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, voicemail, double sink, and LCD TV. The property offers four championship golf courses, two separate ski mountains, a fitness center and spa, and a variety of outdoor and indoor pools. Guests of Shanty Creek Resorts discover the true meaning of complete serenity at resort's spa. Choose from an array of indulgent treatments and spa packages. Resort guests also have complimentary access to the fitness center which includes the use of Nautilus weight equipment, free weights, cardio equipment, dry sauna, steam room, whirlpool, showers and locker rooms. The hotel offers services and amenities such as 24-hour front desk, free Internet access in public areas, room service and ski shuttle. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and is a smoke-free. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Check-in is 6pm and check-out is 12pm. Please provide the front desk agent with a credit card and drivers license. Must be 21 years or older to check in. Please note that there is an 8 percent resort fee and a 2 percent CVB fee collected at check-in. |
