The Peterborough Caravan Park was the recipient of the Northern South Australian Business Award for Caravan Parks and Camping grounds in 2002. The Award was a joint venture of the Northern Regional Development Board and Flinders Ranges and Outback South Australia.
The ark is set in a quiet area of the historic railway town of Peterborough. It contains a modern amenities block and large drive through sites all with their own water, electricity and sullage. The park offers cabins, on site vans, a purpose built disabled facility, large laundry and mini golf. Alongside the caravan park is one of the finest recreational areas in the north with a lake, islands, animals, playground andbarbeque area.
A public pool (open summer months only) is a short walk from the park.
