Hotel Overview : Northern Light InnThis hotel is located in a really first class spot, whether one is simply stopping briefly in Iceland and want to take a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon whilst there, or planning to really explore south west Iceland from a base in its spectacular countryside. RY1003 This is a nondescript, purpose-built hotel. The restaurant serves mainly Icelandic dishes, the dining room contiuing the theme of homely comfort. The lobby is small and plain, but the welcome will undoubtedly be warm! 21 Single rooms Double rooms Twin rooms Triple rooms Non-smoking rooms The rooms are medium size and in very good condition. They are simply furnished with an emphasis more on comfort and practicality than luxury. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. The hotel is situated at the countryside, 15 drive minutes from Keflavik Airport and 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The hotel is 1km from the Blue Lagoon next to the power station from which its water comes. Countryside 5 kms to city centre 20 kms to the nearest airport (kef) 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop |
