Miltown House offers modern, comfortable accommodation within a new extension to the old part of the house which dates back into the 1800's. At Miltown House we are determined to ensure that you not only thoroughly enjoy your visit to our beautiful countryside but also very much enjoy your stay in our friendly home. All rooms are modern, comfortable and offer en-suite facilities together with central heating, double glazing, twin beds, electric blanket, hair dryer, tea and coffee making tray with biscuits, piped television and both a house and local information pack, etc.Each morning you will feast on a hearty breakfast of quality home cooked food, tastefully prepared in our spotlessly clean country kitchen then presented to you in our bright, airy dining room. Depending on the season and availability some of the food on your plate may well have been produced in our very own greenhouses and garden combining real freshness with the fullest of flavour. For a small additional charge a number of various extra services are available in-house should they be required by our guests. These services include; Small laundry wash, ironing, flask fills, pack up's (snacks), chilled soft drinks. Evening meals are not provided however meals are available until aprox. 6 p.m. at our local Inn just a gentle walk's distance from Miltown House. With its friendly service and delicious home cooked food we happily recommend this Inn to one and all.

    Transportation - Miltown House Bed & Breakfast Dingle


    Miltown House lies just off the A941 near Dufftown, Moray. From Aberdeen follow to Alford, Bridge of Alford and then Lumsden. At Lumsden continue through the village and on for about 1 mile. At the foot of a steep hill with a sharp right turn over a narrow bridge you will see a road off to your left signed B9002. Turn onto this road and follow it for approximately 5 miles to a T' junction. At this T' junction turn left towards The Cabrach and Dufftown. Continue for approximately 4 miles when you will pass The Grouse Inn. Continue on for about half a mile before turning right onto an unmarked road or, if you miss this road, turn right at the next road just over the narrow bridge at Bridgend, marked for Cabrach Church and Cabrach School. Continue on either road until you reach a Y' junction and then straight on for a few yards when you will see the BandB signs for Miltown which lies to your right .From Inverness (or alternative Aberdeen route) follow the A 96 to Huntly.At Huntly turn off the A96 onto the A920 Dufftown road (oppositeTesco) and remain on this road for approximately 9 miles. Turn left at the top of a hill onto the road signed for Haugh of Glass. Follow this road until you arrive at a staggered cross roads with war memorial. Turn left here and follow for approx. 5 miles or so. At the bottom of a long hill you will see an unmarked road to your left. Go past this road and just after it you will arrive to a warm welcome at Miltown House on your left.
