If shopping is your thing, look no further as the cosmopolitan main street offers an array of clothing and gift shops. A selection of alfresco cafe's and exquisite restaurants will also help you to enjoy this relaxing Lorne experience. Also on offer is a safe beach area for children. Playgrounds, skateparks, picnic grounds and the like are also at your fingertips. A supermarket is located no further than 150 metres away for your convenience should the need arise. Day trips to the world reknown Twelve Apostles, Sovereign Hill and the newly constructed Otway Fly rainforest walk are a comfortable drive away if that's what you're after. Not to forget the breathtaking Erskine Falls less than 20 minutes drive for a change of scenery. Our guests continue to praise our efforts to provide a clean and comfortable place to stay, relax and enjoy the sun, sand and surf in a national park environment!
Transportation - Lorne Beach Stays Studio Apartments
If travelling from Geelong, take the main highway to Colac Road. Look for the Anglesea Road turnoff once you pass the set of traffic lights that lead into Bunniings Homemaker Centre at Waurn Ponds. The Anglesea Road turn-off is to the left of the roundabout that follows. This road will take you through to Lorne. From here allow at least 45 minutes to one hour travel time dependent upon traffic. Once entering Lorne, turn right at the second roundabout (Otway Street). Entry to our apartment complex is no more than 50 metres on the left. Look for a driveway in between a break in the cream coloured picket fence. The apartments are numbered on the pavement below each.
