Hotel Overview : Las Terrazas de BallenaIn the hills above Ballena National Park is nestled Costa Rica's smallest Jungle Boutique Hotel - Las Terrazas de Ballena. Formerly the Balcon de Uvita and known for its spectacular ocean views of the "Whales Tail" reef and Cano Island. The newly opened Las Terrazas de Ballena has just completed a half million dollar renovation, including furnishings inspired and imported from Thailand and a newroad up the mountain to get there. Las Terrazas de Ballena is a three-acre compound and now has six Terrazas that look like they are floating in the jungle. Two terraces are an open-air restaurant and lounge, three are private living spaces for the bungalows and one surrounds our tropical swimming pool and waterfall. All have the same spectacular view of the only Whale Park in Costa Rica (Ballena National Park). This description is based on information provided by the specialty lodging. |
