Kewaunee is the "door" to Door County, Wisconsin, located 30 miles east of Green Bay and 30 miles south of Sturgeon Bay on the Door Peninsula. The verdant Kewaunee River valley, boater-friendly Kewaunee Harbor, and the sandy shores of Lake Michigan are among the natural features of this small city.
