We’re within short walking distance to shopping, dining, all major tourist sites, markets and the main station "Santa Maria Novella". Just a few yards will take you to both convention centers; Palazzo dei Congressi and Fortezza da Basso. The hotel occupies an eighteenth century building which was originally a one family home. Rooms and hallways are furnished with antique and eclectic pieces and paintings. This charming hotel boasts an enormous terrace for guests to relax after a busy day of shopping or sight seeing in the shade or under the Florentine/Tuscan sun, with a book, or to mingle with other guests sharing a bottle of excellent Chianti Classico or chilled Prosecco! Our guests enjoy writing post cards, reading, relaxing, sharing wine, snacks and travel adventure stories while mingling on our terrace. Our 10 comfortable rooms, casual, relaxed atmosphere and the fact that the friendly, owners Carmel and Pino live on the premises add up to make the "Hotel Il Bargellino" an excellent place to start and finish your day whether for business or pleasure.
