Other amenities include Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park. Rooms The 113 en suite bedrooms are each designed for maximum comfort. Each of the deluxe rooms is equipped with a shower and bath tub, as well as multi-channel TV, a hairdryer, double bed, direct dial telephone, a radio and Internet access. Tea and coffee making facilities, central heating, a safety deposit box and a trouser press are also featured. Sports/Entertainment The leisure centre features a fully equipped gym, including a 20-metre indoor swimming pool with an on-deck hot tub spa, Scandinavian wood sauna and steam room. Guests who prefer something a little less strenuous can always head to the beauty salon for some aromatherapy, reflexology or a soothing massage (subject to availability and fees may apply). Aerobics sessions are also available in the pool, and there is a pebble beach within walking distance. Meals Recipient of an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence, PJ's Restaurant offers a continental and full Irish breakfast, served 7 days a week, and a delicious lunch menu is available on Sunday. The Dungeon Bar and Grill is a hideaway, which provides a relaxing ambience in an exclusive and sophisticated environment. The Dungeon Bar and Grill recently received a Hotel and Catering Review 'Gold Medal' Award. The Grill restaurant features fresh local produce grilled to perfection. The Library Bar is the perfect venue for a quiet drink before or after dinner - with comfortable leather seating and an extensive wine and cocktail menu. Payment American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, VISA and some debit cards are all accepted as methods of payment. How to get there By car from Dublin Airport: Leaving the airport, follow signs for M1 and M50. Guests will be travelling on the M1 for a short time before coming onto a roundabout. Take the turn for the M50 southbound. Continue on the M50 going through a toll bridge. Turn left at Exit 16 off the M50. This exit is also signposted for Cherrywood, Loughlinstown and Killiney. Go through the lights at the exit and follow Dun Laoghaire Car Ferry signs over the fly-over bridge. Continue straight onto to Wyattville Road through 3 sets of traffic lights and continue straight up the hill. Continue straight through the next set of traffic lights for approximately half a mile until reaching a roundabout. Guests will see Killiney Shopping Centre and the Graduate Pub in front of them. Take the third exit off the roundabout up Avondale road. Take the first turn right onto Ballinclea Road. Drive up Ballinclea road until coming to a fork in the road, then take a right turn at this fork. Continue up this road to a T-junction and the Fitzpatrick Castle should be ahead. Turn either left or right for the hotel entrance. |
