The hotel lies around 1 hour away from the tourist centre and city centre of Key West and offers a charming alternative to a hotel in the town. Local attractions include the Turtle Hospital (around 20.9 km), Seven Mile Bridge (about 22.5 km) and the Bud N Mary Dive Center (some 28.9 km). Marathon Airport is located roughly 13 km from the hotel and it is approximately 160 km to Miami International Airport. All of the hotel guest rooms and suites feature classic West Indies island dcor and all come with a private bathroom with an oversize tumbled marble shower and bath and a hairdryer. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, a large flat-screen TV with satellite/cable channels, a radio, Internet access (wired and wireless) and a safe. Furthermore, an ironing set, air conditioning and central heating are provided in all accommodation units as standard. Most of the luxury accommodation units offer balconies, many with spectacular water views and some with direct access to the swimming pools. Guests can take advantage of the tropically decorated sun terrace with its large pool in the outdoor complex. In total, there are 5 pools available for guests' use, including a heated pool and a children's swimming area. Guests can work out in the gym or relax in the hot tub or with a massage or spa treatment. On the hotel beach, guests may try their hand at water sports activities such as waterskiing, jet skiing, diving and sailing, or simply watch the dolphins swimming in the lagoon. There is a tennis court on-site and it is also possible to enjoy a game of basketball or beach volleyball. Guests may like to explore the surrounding area by bicycle and there are entertainment programmes available, including a programme for children. Moreover, there are sun loungers and parasols available for guests' use on the pebble beach.
