Hotel Overview : Dongyuan Hotel KaifengThe Dongyuan Hotel ( Dongyuan dajiudian ) is located just outside the old city of Kaifeng near Ziyou Lu in the eastern part of the city. It is only 5 minute's drive from the railway station and the major scenic spots can be reached by car within ten minutes. Although many of the rooms are a little small, and the hotel is not in the best of locations, this is still one of the better options in Kaifeng for its facilities and service. There are 127 rooms in this three star hotel, including standard/deluxe rooms and standard, deluxe & presidential suites. All of the rooms are provided with central air-conditioning, IDD telephone, in-house movies and satellite TV. Recreational and business facilities are up to standard, the hotel offering guests the use of a comprehensive business center, a sauna, massage and beauty parlor and a couple of conference and function rooms. The Dongyuan has two restaurants, the Yuechun Palace serving Cantonese cuisine, and the Qinghe Palace which offers traditional Henan cuisine.
