Its history dates back to 1515. The building was completely refurbished, keeping the historical facade protected and maintaining the overall nostalgic spirit. All rooms offer all modern facilities for the travelling business client and the demanding tourist. The rooms are equipped with hair-dryer, safe, mini-bar, TV, phone, internet access and desk. Cafe “The Zalm” is the historic heart of the hotel. It was completely renewed during the restoration process, but refurbished with the original furniture, including the authentic 1920's bar and genuine silver coffee filters. Known for decades for its perfect Belgian Stella beer, the cafe offers a wide range of Belgian beer specialities, some quite obscure, but not less tasty. Europoort is just a stone's throw away and exciting cities such as Rotterdam (30 km) and The Hague (50 km), as well as the town of Zierikzee (50 km) are well worth a visit.
