	Hotel Overview : Country Oaks Hotel Rotorua Situated less than ten kilometres from central Rotorua, our hillside location enjoys sweeping rural and lake views. Close to many of Rotorua's top attractions yet in a peaceful country setting. We have a Qualmark 4-star rating. We offer two comfortable guest rooms: one king/twin and one queen. Both are ensuite with garden and lake views. There is a large guest lounge with TV,DVD, books and games for you to enjoy with complimentary tea and coffee available. We also have wireless broadband internet access. A large display of brochures of local attractions is there for you to browse. We are happy to recommend things to do and places to see and will make bookings for you if necessary. Your tariff includes a full cooked breakfast which may feature our own free-range eggs, homemade bread and preserves and Bill's traditional English style (and award-winning) sausages and seasonal fruit. We can supply a light "supper on a tray" or picnic lunches for an additional charge (and 24 hours notice for the picnic.) We have a large garden and keep steers and chickens. There is a dog onsite but she is not allowed inside guest areas. There is ample off-street parking. We are a well-travelled family with backgrounds in teaching, agriculture, aviation and administration. We love good food, good wine and good conversation! You can bungy jump, Zorb, mountain bike, go white-water rafting, kayaking, sky-diving, horse-riding, off-roading, take a helicopter ride or play a round of golf. Transportation - Country Oaks Hotel Rotorua

From Auckland: Take State Highway1 (SH1) south as far as Tirau. Just past Tirau, turn left on to SH5, signposted to Rotorua. Approximately 44 kilometres from Tirau as you descend towards lake Rotorua, turn right into Dansey Rd. Please note: if the road is busy, it is important you pull over to the left until the road is clear before turning into Dansey Rd. Traffic is very fast. Countryoaks is the first driveway on the right with a sign on the road front and a large No. 68 on the gate. From the South: As you enter Rotorua through the "gates", remain on SH5 by taking a left turn - as if heading for Hamilton. Keep to this road through the industrial area until you reach a large roundabout just before Ngongotaha. Turn left at the roundabout still heading towards Tirau and Hamilton. Dansey Rd is the second on the left just past the Agrodome and Zorb. Our driveway is the first on the right.
