Hotel Overview : Complejo Turistico La GargantaLa Garganta del Chorro is situated within a former flour mill dating back to the 19th century and was converted into the present establishment, comprising a total of 19 modern rooms, in 2001. This hotel is located in El Chorro, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Mlaga, and is the perfect location for a relaxing stay amidst wonderful scenery. Guests can take in views of the nearby reservoir lake and the surrounding landscape. From Mlaga take the A7 motorway in direction Almera. Exit the motorway at Universidad Crtama and continue in the direction of Campillos. This attractive road leads directly to El Chorro, where the hotel can be found on a hillside. If coming from Sevilla, turn off at the Ronda de Andaluca (A92) roundabout in the direction of Campillos. From Granda and Crdoba drive to Antequera and then in the direction of Campillos.Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception, a cosy bar, and a restaurant serving both traditional and innovative dishes. There is a play area available for younger guests and on-site parking spaces for those arriving by car. Breakfast is offered every morning. Lunch and dinner may be selected from the la carte menu. Furthermore, special dietary requirements as well as individual specific dishes can be prepared. Guests are able to book either half-board or full board stays. The comfortable and tastefully fitted rooms all come with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette with fridge, and centrally regulated air-conditioning and heating. In addition, a number of rooms have been built in maisonette style and feature both a small salon and a spacious terrace. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use in the attractive outdoor complex of the hotel.
