Hotel Overview : Clearview Lodge ChristchurchClearview Lodge, is a surprisingly peaceful place to stay just 10 minutes from Christchurch International Airport and 15 minutes from the centre of the city. We offer 5 star luxury bed & breakfast accommodation set in our peaceful garden overlooking the Pinot Noir vineyard, olive grove and apple orchard. We are happy to take you on a tour of the garden and vineyard or you can wander at your leisure. We can now offer guests our 2004 Pinot Noir, 2005 Rose' or 2006 Pinot Noir or a New Zealand white wine wine if you prefer. You may like to enjoy this under the sun umbrella, maybe with some of our Olive oil with fresh bread and Dukkah.Rates include Bed and Full Breakfast and Hospitality - Glass of our Pinot Noir or Rose' or NZ white wine or beer. Port available in guest lounge. Tea, coffee and home baking. Fruit platter, Mary Gray Chocolates, Flowers and luxury toiletries in the bathrooms. Wifi or a laptop is available with Printer in the guest lounge. The lounge is available for guests for late check-out or early check-in and there is also a bathroom available. Guests can have a Spa out under the stars or enjoy the heated swimming pool (Oct-April). Sue is happy to take you on a tour of the garden and vineyard. Christchurch is very lucky to be surrounded by some excellent Golf courses. There are 26 golf courses within 45 minutes of the Lodge. We are 5 minutes from Clearwater golf resort and driving range.( Home of the HSBC NZPGA Championship www.pgachampionship.co.nz) Robin is now a keen golfer( 11 handicap and Sue is on 25.4) so if time permits and you would like us to join you, please let us know. Clearwater is open to the public but some tee times are set aside for members. A complimentary candlel lit bubble bath with rose petals can be arranged as a romantic touch to your Honeymoon or Anniversary celebrations. |

Child policy - Clearview Lodge Christchurch
Children and Infants are welcome at Clearview lodge. The swimming pool and Spa area is well fenced with safety fencing and children require supervision at all times when in the pool area. There is plenty of space to run and play and a playground in the garden. There are games and some toys available to entertain children while adults are relaxing. If a babysitter is required, please advise us prior to your arrival so we can make arrangements. We have a cot and High chair available for infants and a rollaway for a child. There is a charge for any extra person.
Car parking - Clearview Lodge Christchurch
Easy off street parking for 10 cars or a campervan(no power) additional parking for approx 60 cars among the olive grove. At night gates are locked and guests have security code to enter.

From Christchurch International Airport: Turn Left at first roundabout into Orchard Rd. Follow this around to Russley Rd/ Johns Rd roundabout, Turn left and follow Johns Rd (SH1) straight through next roundabout. Continue 2 kms and turn Left into Clearwater Avenue. (sign posted Clearwater Resort)turn right at first gate way into Clearview Lodge. This is as easy as can be if you are jetlagged and not used to driving on the Left hand side of the road. No hassles with parking or one way street system. Coming from North of Christchurch: From the end of the Motorway, Main North Road, Turn right at Traffic lights into Johns Rd (SH1) at Shell Service Station/ Airport signs. follow this 2kms. Turn Right after Clearwater resort signs into Clearwater Avenue. Turn right into first driveway. Clearview Lodge at 8 Clearwater Avenue. Coming from the south or West: Take the by-pass and follow signs for the Airport OR follow the Main South Road into Hornby. Turn left at Hornby Mall (2nd set of lights) This is Carmen Road, then Russley Rd, then Johns Road. Follow this past airport turn off (Memorial Avenue) Continue through 4 roundabouts . 2 kms past last roundabout, turn left after Clearwater Resort Signs into Clearwater Avenue. Turn right into first driveway. Clearview lodge at 8 Clearwater Avenue.
