Hotel Overview : Chimneys B&B OamaruWelcome to the 'Capital of Penguins'."Chimneys Homestay Bed & Breakfast" was built in 1907 as a doctor's residence using Oamaru stone and native timber. Its unusual design is full of character - we love this house, and we hope you will too!! Since purchasing the house in March 2005 we have invested a great deal of time and effort carefully refurbishing our home to its former glory. This is an ongoing process which is not finished yet! While staying at "Chimneys Homestay Bed & Breakfast" you will re-discover the prosperity of the city of Oamaru about 100 years ago. We are located in the central city, handy to shops, bus terminal, Oamaru historical precinct and penguin colonies. We are looking forward to seeing you here!!! |
