It is around 6 km to Entzheim airport.This 19th century hotel occupies the building of a former castle and consists of a main building and a neighbouring building, each with two floors, offering a total of 60 rooms and two apartments. It is surrounded by around 40 km of parkland and lies in a forested area in the bend of a river. The building, which features traditional Alsatian architecture, offers guests a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and lifts. Additional facilities at this fully air-conditioned hotel include a bar, salons, and a restaurant. There is also a breakfast and dining room and a conference room available. Room and laundry services may also be taken advantage of and there is a bicycle hire service (charges apply) and parking for up to 150 cars (charges apply). Younger guests may let off steam in the playground. The chef, Yannick Mattern, welcomes guests in the Chteau de l'Ile and offers a menu featuring French and regional delicacies in three rooms with views over the river and woodlands, which can seat up to 95 persons. During fine weather it is possible to enjoy lunch on the terrace located on the banks of the river. Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet.
