Hotel Overview : Central Park Apartments New York CityThe Central Park Apartments are in a 17-story, 202-apartment building called Tempo. The building's 24-hour front desk staff direct guests to where they can register between 9 AM and 10 PM. Guests arriving after 10 PM receive apartment keys from front-desk attendants and check in the following day. Machines in the building's two laundry rooms operate with credit cards or coins. Rental Ethernet cables are available in the office for $10 per day (subject to change) so that guests can obtain high-speed Internet access in apartments with their own computers. Two laundry rooms contain machines accepting credit cards or coins. On request, towels are changed every three days without charge. There is one complimentary housekeeping visit for a minimum seven-day stay. Furnishings and decor include dining sets and wood floors. Closets contain vacuums.Two and a half blocks west of Central Park. Area:Central Park, 2. 5 blocks east, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's skating rink, 1. 25 miles south, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink. Upper West Side athletic clubs offer swimming, racquet sports, and exercise classes. Recreation:A small, 24-hour, complimentary fitness center contains cardio machines, a weight machine, and free weights. Central Park Apartments rents 70 of the 202 apartments in the 17-story Tempo apartment building. These apartments—all nonsmoking—include fully equipped kitchens or compact, fully equipped kitchenette units. Low, European-style beds come with white comforters. Televisions are equipped with DVD/CD players and VCRs. Tile bathrooms contain shower/tub combinations and pedestal sinks. Cordless phones with answering machines have dedicated, direct-dial numbers. Local calls are complimentary. **Please be advised check in is at 3pm sharp. If you would like to check in before 3pm you will need to book the day before as well. For security reasons you will not be able to enter the building without your name on the appropriate list. If you are trying to enter before 3pm your name must appear on the list for the day before as well. ****Please note this is a minimal amenity apartment (1 roll of toilet paper, 1 dishwashing detergent tablet, etc. ) Guests must supplier their own after what is originally given is used. ****Cleaning of the apartments are as follows: The apartment will be cleaned the day of check in. After 7 days the apartment will be cleaned again (included in rate). Cleaning is the responsiblity of the guest other then these 2 times. If you require another cleaning during your stay or if you would like the apartment to be cleaned before the 7th day there is a charge of $30 per cleaning. ** |
