Transportation - Casuarina Restaurant and Country Inn Hotel Pokolbin

Casuarina is a leisurely 2 hours drive north of Sydney, an hour west of Newcastle between Cessnock and Singleton. Travelling from Sydney City follow the signs to the North Coast and Newcastle. Travel north for about an hour on the scenic F3 Freeway, turning left at the Cessnock/ Hunter Vineyards Exit. Approximately 30 minutes from the turnoff, you will enter Cessnock. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights and continue down the town's shopping centre. At the end of Vincent Street is a T-section where you turn left and then swing into the far right lane to turn right into Allandale Road at the next set of lights. McDonalds should be on your right. Follow signs saying to Branxton. This road becomes Wine Country Drive just as it leaves the town of Cessnock. Ten kilometres along Wine Country Drive, turn left onto Broke Road, just past Cessnock Airport and the Visitor Information Centre. Continue along Broke Road for about 5 minutes, past Hunter Valley Gardens then past Tyrrell's Wines and on to Hermitage Road on your right. Turn right here and continue for two kilometres along Hermitage Road. Casuarina Restaurant & Country Inn is on your right.
