Welcome to Beech House Guest Accommodation a victorian town house dating back to 1891 with original features and modern amenities giving the interior an elegant yet fresh contemporary feel. We are situated just a 6-7 minute walk from the city on a residential tree lined street. Your room can be accessed 24 hours allowing you to return when it suits you. All rooms have en-suite facilities, colour TV, teacoffeechocolate making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries and towels. All our rooms are decorated to a high standard.CAR PARKING AVAILABLE (please advise at time of booking - one car per room) We accept major credit and debit cards, personal cheques with a valid card and cash. Please note: A 3% processing fee is added to all card payments. CHECK-IN BETWEEN 12-2PM or 6-8PM There is use of a computer with internet access and WIFI throughout. A guest lounge is available during your stay with television and a variety of DVD's. Our cooked breakfast also caters for vegetarians vegans and those who may have specialist requirements (please advise at time of booking). Our breakfast bar has local produce including homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, cereals, jams and preserves.     From the Train Station (also the coach drop off area)Turn left out of the station and then left into Leeman Road, cross the road before the overhead bridge and walk down the alleyway next to the General Post Office. Turn left at the river and cross over the footbridge. Once over the footbridge walk underneath the bridge you have crossed.Immediately on your right you will come across some shallow steps that lead you to Longfield Terrace. Beech House is 40 metres on your left. By Car Follow the outer ring road (A1237, from any direction) until you reach the A19 roundabout (North West of York) to either Thirsk or York (this roundabout is North West of the City).Turn towards York, pass the park and ride' on your right and carry on for approx 2 miles.Pass under a footbridge, then take the second turning on the right on to Bootham Terrace. This becomes Longfield Terrace after 50 metres. Beech House is on your right hand side.
