Le Cheval Noir

This is a great place to stop at, right in the heart of impressionist country. Le Cheval Noir has been accommodating guests since 1763 in the royal town of Moret-sur-Loing, near Fontainebleau. Gilles de Crick, the master of the house, is an art lover. He has therefore decorated the six rooms and the large suite like a gallery, turning the hotel into a private museum.
