Must see attractions include the Grays Harbor Center for the Performing Arts/ the Aberdeen Museum of History/ Grays Harbor Historical Seaport/ the Polson Museum/ the Westport Maritime Museum and Twin Harbors State Park. Aberdeen is the homeport of the tall ship Lady Washington/ a reproduction of a smaller vessel used by the explorer Captain Robert Gray/ which was featured in the films Pirates of the Caribbean- The Curse of the Black Pearl/ and Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead Mans Chest. Aberdeen is also the birthplace of musician Kurt Cobain. |
