Mount Tamborine National Park Full-Day Tour with Rainforest Skywalk

Experience a small group Eco tour through Mount Tamborine National Park. Spend the day on this 6km guided walk of the World Heritage Rainforest of Mt Tamborine National Park. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the rainforest stream and a delicious picnic lunch.

Enjoy all that Mount Tamborine National Park has to offer on this full-day guided walking tour. You'll be picked up from your Brisbane or Surfers Paradise hotel and travel along the scenic route to Mount Tamborine National Park and enjoy morning tea on your arrival.

Your first walk of the day is a 1.4km (40-min) MacDonald rainforest circuit. This mostly flat walk takes in Giant Strangler Figs, Hoop Pine, Giant Buttress trees, and an idyllic creek crossing, and is ideal for birdwatchers.

Continue with a 2.6km (1-hour) Sandy Creek and Cameron Falls circuit walk. Scenic views, piccabeen palm groves, rainforest with tall trees emerging above the surrounding canopy, and Cameron Falls Lookout all feature on this walk.

Take time to relax and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch prepared by your tour guide in the middle of a beautiful setting at Knoll National park.

Following lunch, journey to Joalah National Park, a 1.5km walk (30-min). Joalah is an Aboriginal word meaning haunt of the lyrebird. The loud calls of the male Albert's lyrebird can be heard during winter. Walk through rainforest and descend steep stairs to a large pool at the base of Curtis Falls. There is an impressive view of the falls and surrounding columnar basalt rock face.

Your Mount Tamborine experience concludes with a rainforest skywalk. In a setting of 30 private acres of magnificent rainforest alongside a kilometer of tumbling creek and rockpools, this walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling you to explore the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. It descends gradually to the lower canopy to rock pools and waterfalls, and a butterfly lookout.
