Medina of Marrakech Tour
On this tour of Marrakech, you will discover the Medina of Marrakech, the famous UNESCO World Heritage site.
Founded in 11th century by the Almoravids, Marrakech and its old fortified city of Median have been a cultural, economical and political center for a long time. Enter Medina's by the Bab Lkhmiss entry and explore its fascinating maze of hidden lanes and alleys.
The tour takes you to the Market Arrsat Malek where you will find yourself overwhelmed by the smell of colorful exotic spices and traditional goods on offer. You will stop to visit Farnatchi, a traditonal bakery and oven where you will be introduced to the old bread baking techniques that are in use for centuries. The next stop will be at the breath taking Chreb Ouchouff fountain and will lead you further to visit the craftsmen at the Foundouk in the oldest part of the city. Last but not least you will see one of the old Riads (old residences) of the Arab quarter where you will enjoy traditional mint tea before leaving Medina through the exit by Bab Laarous.
