Around the Lake Private Photography Tour

This seventy-two mile drive skirts the edges of Lake Tahoe, providing breathtaking views. The pristine alpine lake is surrounded by the snowcapped mountains of the Sierra Nevadas. This incredible experience has a myriad of photo opportunities.

Your tour begins at the beautiful Tahoe beach shadowed by the Tahoe Peaks of "Mt. Tallac". This area is also a wildlife sanctuary and you will see and be able to photograph many species of local birds, other mammals and possibly even bears.

From here the highway winds north along the shore with spectacular views of the South Shore beaches. Shortly thereafter you will reach Cascade Lake on the left and Emerald Bay on the right. Then you will be taken to secret Emerald Bay spots where the photographic opportunities are limitless.

You will then be taken on a side trip up to Mt. Rose Highway, which leads to an incredible lookout over the entire Tahoe Basin. Winding down into Incline Village, you will continue south to the east shore. One of Tahoe's most beautiful beaches, Sand Harbor, is located here. There are spectacular photo opportunities in and around the East shore where you will see the incredible array of colors in the water that Lake Tahoe is famous for.

The last stop will be at Logan Shoals, here you will have a breathtaking overlook of the East shore and Cave Rock, which is a holy spot for the native Washoe Indians.
