3-Day Wave Rock, Albany and Tree Top Tour from Perth
Discover the unique formation of Wave Rock, one of Western Australia's most fascinating natural icons. Head south to historic Albany, the first town to be settled in WA by Europeans. See The Gap and Natural Bridge, two amazing natural features which have been carved from masses of granite over thousands of years by the many forces of nature.
A journey through the Western Australian wheatbelt to Wave Rock is combined with picturesque farm country, historic port of Albany, sightseeing along the rugged southern coastline finished off with a walk through the canopy of towering old growth forest.Perth Airport Transfers (Roundtrip):
At time of booking, you MUST include all flight and downtown Perth accommodation details in the "Special Requirements" box. The details required include airline, flight number, departing city / arrival city, arrival time, hotel name and address.
Day 1: Perth to Wave Rock to Perth
Heading east we enjoy morning tea (own expense) at historic York, the first township founded in the Avon Valley. Visit the Dog Cemetery before arriving in Hyden. Visit Hippo's Yawn, a rock formation which resembles a hippo yawning. Then break for a picnic lunch or lobster lunch at the Wildflower Shop. See the spectacle of Wave Rock and the ancient Gnamma Holes. Whilst here visit either a Wildlife Park or view a unique Antique Lace Collection.
Leaving Wave Rock we visit The Humps and finally Mulka's Cave. We return to Perth via a different route and stop at the quaint country town of Babakin for afternoon tea (own expense). Wildflower viewing stops made (Sep - Nov). Arrive in Perth at approximately 8:30pm.

Day 2: Perth to Albany
Travel southwards via the Stirling Range and Porongurup Range National Parks, before reaching historic Albany, Western Australia's first European settlement.

Day 3: Albany to Tree Top Walk to Perth
After coastal sightseeing visiting "The Gap" and "Natural Bridge", travel via Denmark through spectacular karri tree forests to the coastal resort town of Walpole. Here join a local guide "Gary" for a luncheon cruise on Nornalup Inlet, widely regarded as one of the last great wilderness areas. Gary will delight all with his incredible knowledge and love of this area.
Next stop is the amazing Valley of the Giants "Tree Top Walk" reaching 40m into the forest canopy. A ground level walk is available through the Ancient Empire, a remarkable pocket of Tingle Forest, wide girth trees up to 5 meters wide.
En route to Perth we stop for a light evening meal (own expense) at the Kodja Place Visitors Centre with arrival in Perth at approx. 10:30pm.
