2-Day Tour to Washington DC and Philadelphia from New York
See one of the other great American cities during your stay in New York on an overnight tour to Washington DC.
On arrival in Washington DC you will visit the Air and Space Museum, pass by the Library of the Congress, Federal Supreme Court and see the US Capitol. Other highlights during the 2-Day Tour to Washington DC from New York include the Washington, Jefferson's and Lincoln monuments, as well as an outside view of the world famous White House. On the return to New York City, stop in Philadelphia, "Birthplace of a New Nation".
Day 1: New York - Washington DC
Travel south to Washington through New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Upon arrival in Washington DC you will visit the Air and Space Museum where hundreds of artifacts of aviation and space exploration can be found. Pass by the Library of the Congress, Federal Supreme Court and view the US Capitol where elected Senators and representatives meet to shape US legislative policy. Continue passing by the Washington and Jefferson's monuments and have a stop to visit Lincoln, Vietnam and the Korean War memorials. End the day by viewing the world famous White House, home to the American Presidents.
Day 2: Washington DC - Philadelphia - New York
Begin the day by visiting the Arlington National Cemetery. Your walking tour will bring you to the burial sites of Robert and John F. Kennedy. You'll continue walking to see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then travel north to Philadelphia, the "Birthplace of a New Nation". Pass by the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the U.S. Constitution written. Return to New York City, where you will say good-bye to your traveling companions.
