The Sanctuary was created with tranquillity in mind and is a beautiful place to be. To help you relax we have a variety of luxurious treatments for you to choose from. You might enjoy an in-house massage with our professional masseuse, an energy balancing session with the EMF Balancing Technique or maybe Yoga on the beach at sunset, meditation in the studio, an Angel Card reading with Angelique or a very relaxing Reiki Energy Balancing Session. We offer residential training courses in The Ascension Centre Reiki Method and also Meditation Weekends. We can create a retreat just for you. We offer two elegant guest rooms that have everything you need for that special time away. There are two walled courtyards for relaxing out of doors, an expansive screened deck where breakfast is served, and a delightful sitting room.Cycle around the other islands or just relax in great surroundings. Borrow our clubs and enjoy a round of golf on the island's 9 hole course. Cook your own BBQ in the courtyard. Take our 2 person hobie-kayak out on the usually calm waters of the Moreton Bay Marine Park. Close to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast (approx 1 hour from each) we are perfectly positioned to offer a quiet and tranquil escape. The beautiful Southern Moreton Bay Islands are accessed from Redland Bay by ferry or vehicular barge. Traveling through the marine park in the protected waters you may see dolphins or dugongs at play. This is a lovely place to get away from it all. At The Island Sanctuary we serve Vegetarian food and can provide raw food with notice. If you would enjoy a spiritual retreat we can tailor make one just for you.

Getting here from Brisbane:- Take the Old Cleveland Road then follow signs to Victoria Point and Redland Bay. Getting here from the Gold Coast:- Take the Pacific Highway north to Exit 31, then East to Redland Bay. Getting here from the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane Airport:- Take the Bruce Highway (from the Sunshine Coast) and the Gateway Motorway south. After the Gateway Bridge take the Old Cleveland Road then follow signs to Victoria Point and Redland Bay. Once at Redland Bay:- Follow signs to Ferries. Bring your car via 'The Bay Islander Service' which leaves from Weinam Street jetty. (Call 07 3829 0999 / Email bookings@bayislander.com.au / Web www.bayislander.com.au - BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL). Passengers leave from the 'Bay Islands Transit Service' terminal off Banana Street. (Call 07 3206 8033 for timetable. Frequent service, bookings not required). Parking can be difficult especially at weekends so allow 20 minutes. Once on Macleay Island:- Both Ferries arrive at the same place on Macleay Island. Go up the road from the ferry and turn left on to Southsea Terrace. Next cross roads turn right on to High Central and first left to Scarborough Road. This leads straight on to Western Road which brings you right to us on the corner with Emily Crescent.
