The two semi self contained apartments (Tui & Pukeko apartments) are a available for a bed and breakfast option at $200 per night. Just a short walk from the stunning Waikawa Marina.This is a fascinating area with 1000 boats moored and a great place to walk around or dine beside. There are two eating spots(resturants)with views out over the marina.
Waikawa Bay is just 4 kms from Picton by Road.It is the centre of boating activity for the Marlborouigh Sounds gateway to hiundreds of kilometres of coastline and sheltered bays.

Cruise Boats will take you to wherever you wish to walk for the day or you can overnight on the track. Cycling You can ride the off road tracks on mountain bikes or take in the scenery on a road bike. The ride around the Bays to Havelock (2 hours) takes you through the very best of the Marlborough Sounds scenery. Blue water, native bush, boats nudging on moorings, dairy farms - its gorgeous! Golf Picton is home to one of New Zealand¿s best mini golf courses, or if you are after something a little more challenging you can enjoy a nine hole resort course just 10 minutes drive from the Sports Resort. Wineries Just 20 minutes drive away is the Blenheim wine region, famous for some of New Zealand best wines. You can take a full day or half day trip to enjoy a delicious lunch or sample the wines throughout the region. Rest and Relaxation You can enjoy the outdoor fire and heated spa at the resort for the cooler days. The swimming pool is delightful, just to sit by (if you don't wish to swim) with a good sound system which can make you feel even more relaxed. The astroturf tennis court comes with lights for evening play. The tennis Court is astroturf and delightful to play.Lights allow you to play up to 10.oopm if you so wish.

    If you are coming by Ferry from Wellington The Sports Resort is just a 5 minute dricve heading up th Sounds on Waikawa Road.4 kms from Picton turn left into Beach Rd and travel down to find the the apartments at 27 to 29 Beach Rd. The apartments have a well lit sign for those travelling after dark. We are just on the right hand side of beach Rd 100 metres back from the Marina. If you are staying at the Tui or Pukeko semi attached apartments; you will need to phone for directions.
