Sokraki is one of the oldest and most beautiful villages of Corfu that preserves until now its authenticity. It's build right up on the neck of the mountain and has the gift to look into two seas. On the south side you can see the sun rising which gives to the city a rose-colour, the twin hills of the old fortress, the Gouvia bay, roca's valley and if you are lucky after Kavos you will watch the pale line of island Leykada. As the twilight falls, your steps lead you, through the narrow streets of the village, to the north side where you can watch the sun falling into Adriatic and Ionian sea, painting the three little islands, (Othonous, Erikousa, Mathraki ), purple. The block consists of two villas, named Kirki and Nostalgia. The total surface of each villa is 80 m2 and is placed over three different levels. The entrance leads us to the first floor where is situated the living-room with fire place and the kitchen with dining-place. The interior marble stairs leads us to the other levels of the villa. At the semi-floor we find the bathroom and the bedroom with two single beds. At the top floor is a romantic bedroom with double bed and its own bathroom. All rooms and the living-room have a balcony with panoramic view over the sea, Mountain and the city of Corfu. The exterior of the house is built in different levels. The stamped floors are in a variety of shapes and colours which offers different spaces for every kind of use. Tables and chairs, a garden with a variety of plants and distinguishing lightning for the night. At one of the exterior spaces we find the swimming pool Waterfall with a free view to the sea while swimming. Around the pool are the sun beds with umbrellas, arm-chairs and tables, so you can enjoy the sun and your drinks while watching the sea and the city. Under the swimming pool is the taverna with a capacity of 40 persons indoors and 60 persons outdoors. At a warm and beautiful decorated place you ca enjoy your breakfast, coffee and the local specialities.All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid Credit Card that will be charged on arrival date. Transportation - Sokraki Villas Corfu

Sokraki is a semi-mountainous village, in 480m attitude, and it's a part of municipality of Faiakes and it's only 23km away from the city. The first historical evidence of the village is in 1343 when together with other villages they built up the monastery of Pantokrator. The entrances to the village are four, from Ano Korakiana, from Troumpeta, Spartila or Klimatia. That makes it the centre of north Corfu as you need only 30 minutes to the city of Corfu, and only 10 to 15 km away are the beautiful villages Ipsos, Dassia, Paleokastritsa, Acharavi, Roda, the monastery of Pantokrator and the monastery of Agia Triada.
