It is high above the Kiewa Valley in North East Victoria and adjacent to the natural beauty of the Bogong High Plains. Sydney is 690kms away and Canberra is 506 kms. In winter access to Falls Creek is only via the township of Mount Beauty. During the declared snow season, the last 32kms windy stretch of road from Mt Beauty to Falls Creek is regularly cleared of snow and while carrying chains is a legal requirement they are rarely fitted on this road. No petrol is available at Falls Creek so make sure you fill up before driving up.The closest commercial airport is Albury on the border of NSW and VIC about 125kms and 1. 5 hours drive. Coach or limousines transfers are available in Winter season. There is also a train station in Albury. Helicopters transfers from Albury or Melbourne are also available. The luxurious Mii Spa offers 5 treatment rooms for an indulgent retreat and perfect place to get pampered.
