Cal Capdevila is a traditional 19th-century (built in 1866) rural house which stands in Plaça Catalunya square in Pira, a small village of around 400 inhabitants in the heart of Conca de Barberà county on the Cistercian Route. The house, former residence of one of the wealthiest families in the village, combines a markedly noble aspect with the rustic details added as part of its careful restoration.
