Hotel Overview : Meson de JobitoThe hotel was built in the 19th Century and later fully restored by the state government and the Bureau for the Preservation of Colonial Buildings. Therefore the original appearance of the terraces, corridors, balconies and staircase was preserved where possible. The hotel comprises 2 floors with 53 large suites and offers a range of facilities, ideal for banqueting and conferences, but also suited to community gatherings. The restaurant El Mesonero is widely accepted to be the best restaurant in town and offers its patrons a carefully selected international menu in a stylish atmosphere. Among the facilities provided to hotel guests are a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a currency exchange counter, a cloakroom, a cafe, a terrace, a bar, public Internet access and laundry and room services. There is both a garage and parking spaces for those arriving by car. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA cards are all accepted in the hotel. Guests may select their continental breakfast from a buffet. Lunch and the evening meal may be taken a la carte, and lunch may alternatively be chosen from another buffet. It is possible to book a Bed & Breakfast stay. The suites are colourful and furbished in traditional Mexican colonial style. Through the large windows guests have a view of the inner courtyard. All suites come complete with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a double or king-size bed, centrally regulated air conditioning, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace, all in a refined and elegant atmosphere.
