Many lovely walks are at your doorstep, both on the property or just down the road in Butterfield reserve, plus the many walks in the Dandenong Ranges National Park. You can visit the many nurseries, cafes and gardens in the area. If wineries take your fancy there are quite a few not far from Eagle Hammer which you can drive yourself or have your own personal chauffer. You are minutes from the famous Puffing Billy Steam Train and Emerald Lake. In house massages can be arranged for either one of you, or enjoy a couples massage together. And best of all you can just hide away in the cottage whilst enjoying the greenery and watching & listening to the birds & frogs. There are some nice restaurants just a short drive from Eagle Hammer. If you don’t fancy going out, you can order in from menu’s in the cottage, or arrange a gourmet hamper to be delivered to your cottage (3 days notice is required for hampers).
