North Adelaide offers you historical surroundings and lovely 19th century stately grand homes. There is a complimentary shuttle bus that runs from the CBD past the Buxton Manor. It is an easy to walk from the CBD, just 25 minutes. Just 12km from the airport and 15km from the beach. DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM ADELAIDE AIRPORT TO BUXTON MANOR Depart the terminal via Sir Richard Williams Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive. Follow this road, through about five sets of main traffic lights or for approximately 10-15 minutes (depending on the traffic). At the sixth set of traffic lights, at West Terrace, turn LEFT. Merge into the right lanes and at the end of the street turn RIGHT onto North Terrace. Merge into the left lane. After the pedestrian traffic lights outside the Skycity Casino, turn LEFT at the next intersection at Parliament house ¿ King William Road. Take beautiful King William Rd north, cross over the bridge over the River Torrens, past the Adelaide Oval, past St Peters Anglican Cathedral and up the hill where the road becomes O¿Connell St ¿ North Adelaide¿s restaurant and café precinct. From O¿Connell St, turn LEFT down Gover St (one after Tynte St) and continue over Jeffcott St. You are now on Buxton Street. Buxton Manor is on the LEFT side of the street just over halfway down. Look for a large red brick Manor House with twin driveways and sunken garden and a red brick heritage fence. Garden & Loft, Musica Viva and Paprika Cottage are located in the left hand driveway.
