The property and the heritage listed buildings remain largely unchanged since the horse and buggy days and, as a result, Bungaree provides a better insight into the pastoral history of the 19th century than a museum could ever do. Bungaree Station offers cottage and the stable accommodation ranging from one bed room to four bed rooms equipped with very efficient wood burning slow combustion fires and electric blankets for cold winter nights and ceiling fans for summer. All the accommodations are well appointed and have all the necessary amenities for guest’s comfort. Guests can participate in the daily farm activities, use the swimming pool and the professional gymnasium or simply sit around a bon fire and enjoy a glass of local wine. In its heyday, Bungaree was like a small village with its beautiful sandstone Woolshed, Shearers Quarters, Stable Yard, Station Store, and Managers House, staff cottages and even the District Council Chambers and a Church. |
