    Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve enjoys wonderful views of the Glasshouse Mountains with picnic areas and a rainforest track of 1.7km that has an easy grade. There is also a shorter wheelchair access track, a great opportunity to commune with the natural flora and fauna. Gardner's Falls, on the Obi Obi River east of Maleny is also worth visiting. At MALENY DAIRIES, where tours are available, you can meet the Guernsey herd which produces the fresh milk, yoghurt and cream we serve. MALENY CHEESE is our local cheese manufacturer where you can taste and see their excellent products being made. There are WINERIES (Maleny Mountain Vinyard/Winery & Settlers Rise Winery), SHOPS (Maleny Additions, Bushman's Warehouse, Giddy & Grace) and GALLERIES - fine art, glass, wood and craft may be found in galleries and shops in Maple Street and at Cairncross Corner (Art on Cairncross, Holden's Gallery, David Linton, Maleny Arts & Crafts, Bold as Gold in Maple Street).     Braeside is 3.5km from the main street of Maleny, high in the heartland of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Braeside is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport, or 40 minutes from Maroochy Airport. NAV SAT - Enter address - 305 Maleny Stanley River Rd. WOOTHA 4552. Travelling NORTH from Brisbane: Drive north on the Bruce Highway (M1) from Brisbane. Past Caboolture, take the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Drive (Steve Irwin Way) exit (no. 163) to Beerwah and Landsborough. At Landsborough turn left and follow the Blackall Range Tourist Drive towards Maleny. At the top of the range, turn left at Cairncross Corner on to Mountain View Road. Follow this road past McCarthy¿s Lookout to its end (approx. 6.4km) where it joins with Maleny-Stanley River Road, then turn left (towards Woodford). Braeside is on the left approximately 500 metres from this turn. Travelling SOUTH from Maleny: Drive through the main street (Maple St.) past the Police Station and turn left into Myrtle Street towards Woodford. Braeside is 3.5km on the left along this road. Follow the road across Obi Obi Creek, past the Showgrounds and the Mountain View Road intersection. Braeside is approximately 500 metres on the left past this intersection.
