Hotel Overview : Antonius Hotel TartuLocationThis charming city hotel is situated in the centre of Tartu, just opposite the University of Tartu. Club Maasikas and Tartu bus station are both approximately 400 m from the historical residence, while the train station is 800 m away. Guests will find Tartu city square, shops, Toomemagi Park and the river all within a 5-minute walk of the family-friendly business hotel. Otepaa ski area is around 20 km away and the coast is roughly 180 km away. Facilities This design hotel has a total of 16 rooms on 4 floors. The decoration and design of each of the rooms was carefully chosen and thought out, combining special colour combinations, wallpaper patterns, wall paintings, fireplaces and stoves, and soft furniture with velvet and roseate textiles. Some rooms have amazing views of nearby Tartu University, while others face the Old Town's red roofs. Breakfasts and dinner are served in the restaurant Lumiere, which boasts historical vaults, an attractive atrium and a beautiful hand-painted ceiling. Built in 1811, the air-conditioned themed hotel welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, a cloakroom and lift access. Further facilities include a cafe and bar, conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, and a car park. Rooms In the rooms, all colours, wallpaper patterns, wall paintings, velvet or flowered upholstery fabrics, and accessories belonging to the corresponding era are carefully planned and harmonised. Half of the rooms have a magnificent view of the main building of Tartu University and its famous 6 columns. From the rooms located in the other wing of the hotel, one can admire the Old Town's red roofs and a Mediterranean-style courtyard where a cafe is opened in the summertime. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture which has been carefully matched with modern conveniences. Each room features an en suite bathroom with a shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a double or king-size bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV and a radio. Other in-room amenities include Internet access, a safe, minibar/fridge, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. Sports/Entertainment The hotel offers guests 3 activity packages: rose, cultural and golf packages. Otepaa golf course is approximately 20 km from the hotel and guests can relax and unwind at the end of the day with a massage (fees apply). Meals A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning and guests may select their lunch and dinner from set menus.
