Transportation - Al Qassr Retreat Daylesford


Arriving from Woodend or Calder Highway Enter main street of Daylesford and proceed down the hill towards the direction of Lake Daylesford. Continue along the main road past the Lake Daylesford turn-off (on your right hand side) and start climbing up the hill. Drive past Grahams Lane (on your left hand side). At the top of the hill (look for the blue 'Al Qassr'; sign) turn a sharp left into the service road and proceed to the end of the track (roughly 60 metres). Al Qassr is the first cottage you see. Arriving from Ballarat or the Western Highway As you enter the Daylesford Township, watch for the road speed signs. Drive past the 80 km/h speed sign, then past the first set of 60 km/h speed signs. When you see the second set of 60 km/h signs, turn right into the service road (look for the blue 'Al Qassr' sign) and proceed to the end of the track (roughly 60 metres). Al Qassr is the first cottage you see.
